Who’s who

Interim Minister, Rev. Hanneke Marshall

I have been introduced to Knightswood Anniesland Trinity Church in March 2025 as the Interim Minister. I will be leading worship most weeks, and working with the kirk session and congregation to further cement the recent unions, and begin working towards a shared identity and future. As an interim minister I will be keeping the bigger picture in mind and soon the priorities for this work will be set, in dialogue with the congregation and Kirk Session. You can of course also contact me regarding funerals, baptisms, weddings and becoming a church member. Pastoral care requests may also be directed at me and I will try to make sure someone visits. Funerals may be shared out with others in the congregation where appropriate. I am normally off on Saturdays and Mondays. I will be with KAT church for a period of between 18-24 months during which time we will have hopefully got ready to call a 'normal' minister to the charge.

Before starting as an Interim Minister, I was Parish Minister for eight years in St Machar's Ranfurly Church in Bridge of Weir and particularly enjoyed leading worship, developing creative new ways of mission and outreach to the community and offering leadership to the Kirk Session. I helped prepare my former congregation for a union and also held roles in Clyde presbytery and currently am on the national People and Training task group.

Family and Youth Worker, Louise Reid

I have been a member at the church here since 2014 and continue my own faith journey. I have always enjoyed working with children and young people whether in my paediatric nursing career or the various community arts and crafts groups I have been involved with. I have been the Family and Youth Worker here since 2019. Our regular Sunday Club, Messy Church and Holiday Clubs help young people establish and strengthen their relationship with God in a fun environment. Building good relationships with young people and their families is important to me. The future of the church is dependent on welcoming and encouraging families and young people to come along, join in and explore the activities and worship we offer and through this learn about Jesus' great love for us all. I hope to continue to develop creative ways to engage with and support families, those who access our church and those in our parish.
